I was just wondering at what age and how you found out that Santa didnt exist.

My sister ruined it for me we used to sleep in her room on Christmas eve and wait up for Santa we never made it thought :( Well one Christmas(this is when i was 7 and she was 12)we got to talking and she was trying to convince me that Santa wasn't real until finally i ran crying into my parents room and they had to tell me the truth. Man, I was devastated.

    so what about you?

Indeed, is just a fictional character invented to support one of the most hypocritical times of year.
I found out he was nothing but a sham when I was about 5. Caught my uncle putting on his red suit. Didn't say a thing, just pulled his fake beard off once he sat me on his lap.

Yeah personally i think its wrong to let kids believe to believe that and then just have to break the news to them i think it would be easier just to tell them right from the start also i don't think that there should be religious holidays just because of all the disagreement over that topic...except for the first part that really had nothing to do with santa.

I have nothing against religious holidays. That's what freedom is about, people can believe in whatever they want and celebrate whomever they want, and as long as it is not illegal or immoral, and they are not trying to shove down my throat whatever they believe in as being the right thing, who cares. And if most people can't be nice, kind, giving and forgiving( basically be decent human beings) an entire year, except for the "Christmas Season"(that's why I think is one of the most hypocritical times of year),when they get into the "Christmas spirit", then by all means, let it be Christmas a dozen times a year or even more...

yeah i don't have anything against religious holidays either personally I am not religious, but religious holidays can cause problems just like anything that has to do with religion because there are those people that think there religion is the only religion and they wont listen to anyone else and bad things can happen. Also i agree that people should be decent all year around not just at Christmas.

Yeah, well, bad things happen not just in the name of religion, also in the name of cheap oil, justice and freedom, but still doesn't mean they all should not exist just because some people are f@(#3d up.
