Can anyone tell me if I was to set up an old sky dish from few year ago, will one of the Eurovox boxes work?
As my cable company has cut my line so I can no longer use The Box PVR so I was wondering if I put back up my sat dish and buy a new box would it work.#

No box will work with a sat dish but you will still pick up a fair few free to air channels such as all the ITV's-BBC's-Channel 4's a fair few movie channels and music/kids by putting your dish back up at pointing it at the Astra 28East satellite but you will need a little gadget to hook up to the dish in order to lock onto the satellite.

The Euro Vox will not work on a Satellite dish. However, the Eurovox Quantum will work at €150 to buy. Dont waste your money it is JUNK. Go to LLydl and get the silvercrest SL65 for €80 complete with 80cm dish and dual LNB, user friendly manual, cables,. The receiver has very good features. Again the Quantum is receiver only at €150 and simply a waste of money. Alternatively go to one of the TV stores and buy a simple Digital Satellite receiver only for €50, connect it to your old dish and you will receive 168 English speaking stations or move the dish 1/4 inch to the lefty and receive nearly 300 foreign station.
