SATA/300 Hard Drive with SATA/150 Motherboard?

    Will this work, appreciate if it does it will be at SATA/150 speed but I figure if I'm going to get one a may as well get the faster drive incase I upgrade my MoBo in the future.

    Would I have any issues? Eg. will my SATA/150 cable that came with my motherboard be ok?

    I honestly didnt know or realize there are two different cables. I thought they were the same. But yes the mobo will automatically run the hd at 150 speed and the hd should be backward compatible at running at the slower speed.
