Apologies if there is a thread about this. I did search.

I'm trying to install a new BenQ drive over my OLD BenQ drive, and flash the new one with iextreme 1.5.

JungleFlash looks easy to do it on, but I hear you need specific SATA chipsets. Or is that only for Dosflash? Is it the other way around?

I've found the specs pages for all 4 computers:

    http://www.docs.sony.com/release/specs/VGCRB38G_mksp.pdf

    http://support.gateway.com/s/PC/FX400/1008494/1008494sp3.shtml

    http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/sy...00/sm/specs.htm

    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/Tec...ectID=c00041542

    I've looked here:
    http://www.biline.ca/360_sata.htm

and although it says pretty clearly what drives work and what don't, I don't understand it exactly, or maybe it's just my computers don't fit on there...I'm not sure if what the spec sites are referencing is what the website is talking about.

Anyway, if any of you happen to have any of these computers, or even the motherboards, I'd be ecstatic if you could direct me to the specific guide you used. Right now I'm looking at this:

    http://www.360mods.net/JungleFlasher/JungleFlasher.pdf

    (Thanks for the link, Bill)

The guide seems to be pretty straightforward.

    I appreciate any advice/wisdom, -Matt
