My XP OS is loaded onto an internal SATAII HDD. I get the little "remove hardware safely" icon in the task bar like you would for a USB flash drive. Of course if I removed my "C" drive the PC would crash so is it right that XP sees my SATA drive as a removable media??
Mine does the same thing and Im running WinXP x64. Sees my 2 250 GB USB as external drives as well as my C and D drives which are SATA. Dont think its possible to remove the drive Windows is running off from within itself since its running.
