satallite boxes?

    is there such a thing as a sat box similar to the starview on cable that recieves all sat channels?

    There is thousands of satellite channels on different satellites, different boxes will get you different channels, try searching for eurovox quantum

    Wouldn't bother now if you want something plug and play. Very little open at the moment on sat. The expense is high for only a few channels.
    You'd need a box to patch or a cam and these require time and a fair bit to be learned to get them going. Plus a motor would be an advantage.

    If you buy a cs enabled box all channels can be opened but you'd require it to be connected to the internet 24/7
