    Hi,

Was just about to buy the St$%^iew 4 box for someone in the country that doesn't have cable and only after finding out that it only works on cable (correct me if I'm wrong).

Is there a satellite receiver that will do the same job and if so which would be the best to go for?

    Thanks!

There is sat receivers that you can set up and use, but no they won't do the same job, you will not be able to receive any Sky channels as they have not been compromised at all, but you are better putting in a googl search for a sat. forum.

    Hi,

Not sure if it's a Multichannel Multipoint Distribution Service(!) area or not. I don't think cable is available in the area and any service received is SK& via a dish.

Looks like it aint gonna work.

    cheers anyhoos.
