    Hi all

    anyone know if it is possible to re-programme a free to air receiver?

    Yes. Any I know of (even the "Lidl" ones) have an RS232 port so they can be flashed from a pc or an identical sat box.
    You can usually factory reset them from the menu and also do manual or auto scan and change order of channels. However this can be time consuming.
