Is there anyone in Dublin that can repair Starviews or where would I bring it?
Would peats or something be able to fix it, i've tried flashing it a number of times with different images.

I had an older thread and the conclusion was that it was a capacitor, now i've looked at them and i cant see any that look burnt or like they've been leaking

    Any suggestions?

Yes, it would start up fine, i'd usualy get a minute out of it, then it would completly crash, it would display something different nearly everytime it crashs, eg- 6 or 00 or 4 etc...

I know conor, i saw your thread title lol.

All i can think of at the moment is menu > factory setting
    pin 0000
    ok to delete
disconnect from TV put it in standby & reflash it with the 7.09
connect back up, English, choose provider etc, autoscan, turn emu on.
See if this makes a difference.

I would imagine that you would be charged at least 70 for a repair, maybe more. Most repair guys wont even look at stuff without charging you. You might be better off just investing in a new one.

Place in Clondalkin repaired a dbox for me once, but it cost!
