ok, Here's the deal. I have recently installed a 80 gig hdd in my friends box and used linux installer to put a softmod on the box. now for some reason none off the saved games will load up and it will not load up certain games...the ones that look for save at the beginning..as soon as they start looking for the saves it locks up. and suggestions on this..i have tried redoing the mod and everything and still nothing. any help would be good.
The solution is to clear your Cache. There should be a folder in your C or E drive titled Cache, just delete everything in it. I'm not sure if you need to do this too, but you can delete everything on your X and Y drive also. I had the same problem, after doing this your games will work again. You will not lose anything by deleting those files.
