I convert dvd's to my 2 boys MP4 players, I find I can only convert the ones I download online. How can I save a dvd played in my pc to my pc to convert to mp4?

If you search in the search engine for DVDFab Decrypter it has a program that will allow you to do it but I do believe that you have to purchase the full version for it to convert it to an MP4

There is a website you can check out www.xilisoft.com this company has conversion software that will also do the trick and you may find some things you could use as well.

I'm not familiar with a freeware program that will allow you to do this.

Now to convert the dvd and save it to your hard drive you can use ImgBurn, DVD Shrink and DVDFab. All these programs are free and you can save the movie to your hard drive but then comes the part to where you need to find software/freeware that will convert it to the MP4 format.

Do you remember what you saved it as and where.
A tip could be to rename it something and then just save to the desktop for easy access.
