Hi, can anyone help. I had to reset to factory and do a re-scan but it only finds 127 channels N@l, and when i go through each there are only 20-22 that work, all are rubbish channels (Euro news etc..) the rest still go into updating to 230% go back to the channel screen then back to updating data screen, and so on. Why is this and what do i need to do?? Thanks in advance (PSI have deleted all and rescaned, reset rescaned and turned Emulastor on but still only 20 or so channels, any help would be great! In Dublin.)
Strange- try scanning again and make sure you have the latest codes on it too and depending on where you live you may not be able to receive all the channels N*L has to offer . What box have you got a Star***w 1 or a 'The Box' ?
Hi try this. Do a box reset. When reset switch box off and unplug for about 1 minute. Then turn back on and select lang, select provider and do automatic scan. when complete you should get 173 chan approx. next you must turn the emu back on and then tune to s*y sports and wait. this should do it.
if u are scanning thru extensions or splitters u might lose a few channels ,and it sounds u might not have the fix on ur box,has ur box been off for a month?
Hi Thanks for the replies. Still wrecking my head. It is a St@rvi€w box. And yes it has been off for a mth approx. I keep getting different codes from people and am unsure which is correct. Is irishcodes.c0m the best site for these?? Anyway which ever I have used I get the same results, says so many(153) but can only view 20 ish and when on others like sky sps it says bad or scrambled channel. I have done these steps in this order. 1) delete all channels 2) Input codes and save 3)turn off box 4) turn on and select lang and do scan 5) turn EMP on 6)go back to watch 7) Pull my hair out! And again Thanks.
Ok Thanks for that. I would if i knew what that was and what that entailed, i.e. what cable do i need, where do i plug it in RS232 or S-Video, what site do connect to to find uploads, yeah i know Novice but again thanks for the reply.
