Scanner Question, Please

I hope I'm not duplicating another thread, but there is no way to check all of them.

Question is whether a scanner for Windows 98 can somehow be upgraded to work with Windows XP?

You need to check the manufacturer's website to see if they have XP drivers for your scanner.

 

Odds are that it will not work. There are very few scanners that you could find hacked drivers for XP. My entire office is XP, but I maintain a Win98 box just for the scanner. To be sure, just google your model # and "xp drivers compatibility".
