I was wondering if anyone had any advice on scanning disc labels on Epson 4180 photo scanner. Everytime I scan a picture it looks good on the review but when I transfer it to my Epson R200 print cd software template you can see pixels pretty badly. I have tried changing from 150 dpi, 300 dpi, and 1200 dpi when scanning with no signs of improvement. I was able to scan a few different disc with no problem. Do I need to include more info? thanks
What I have found so far and may be the answer, when in the cd printing software click the small square picture to the left hand side of the cd template. After clicking the button another menu comes up for you to browse for picture, click twain then scan under professional mode. This will enable you to select the descreening method. I picked fine print and it came out good 3 times. Maybe this is the way to go. Also if I dont choose unsharp mask filter my scan looks alittle blurry on everything I scan. Maybe this will help someone out there.
Have you tried this site for cd labels and covers? All you do is pick the one you want and save. http://www.cdcovers.cc. Jerry
Yeah Jerry, I have used it but I was thinking I could get better quality with my scanner. Appreciate the advice. I have tried the others too like coverkingdom,chrisb2k1.co.uk. which I found here and on through google searches.
