Hey gang narrowed my choices down to two monitors (WIDESCREENS 19") both are about same price $ 214.99 for acer & $229.99 for the Sceptre ! The SCeptre has speakers , DVI input & higher contrast ratio 700/1 versus 500/1 for the acer . Warranty 1 year on SCEPTRE and 3 years on the ACER . I don't game other than the Pinball & CARD games that are included with Windows XP . Monitor will be used for surfing the net . general computing & movies . MY computer has a free AGP slot but if I'm not gaming I won't need a Videcard to use this LCD monitor right ! Please help trying to decide before Newegg Raises price or drops the product lines !Thanks to all CIAO!
Just a suggestion, check dells site. I just got a 19" lcd for 249, w/3yr warranty. It's a good monitor.
For What it's worth Thank You all ! I made a decision & went with the SCEPTRE 19" Widescreen from Newegg ! I understand it won't have as much screen height as a 19" 4 X 3 Aspect LCD monitor but it still going to blow my 15" CRT out of the water Screen Acreage wise ! Again friends Thank you !
