I got my grand father a old laptop so he could play scrabble, it loads scrabble to the point of the game but won't load the scrabble board. I think I have encountered the same kind of thing and think it might be something to do with the graphics card. the game is ubisoft scrabble 2005 the laptop has; intel celeron, 256ram not sure of graphics card as it opperate windows proffesional 2000, I have never used this before only xp/vista. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated. Cheers.
it could be the graphics card, post the type of card the laptop has and you can try updating to 9.0 c
Sorry it took so long to reply been on holiday, I'm not too sure of the graphics card but will check as soon as I can. I think the scrabble came with directX 9, it requires at least an ATI Radeon 7000 which I think is 64mb, thats pretty low but the laptop is pretty old. Do you think it is the graphics card, the cpu/ram/hdd space all seem compatable.
