I got a new starview box from some site called wizzard satelites and I was assuming the box would have been ready to plug in and play away. I've scanned for channels and it picked p nearly 200 and when I goto view them all apart from ITV and C4 come up saying "scrambled or ba channel". I read that I sould turn on the emu, Is that right? If Im on the menu (information then, 1570) does nothing, the same can be said abou going into parental control and doing the same. No other menu comes up to turn the emu on to unscamble the channels. Is this due to the box requiring an update? I was supplied with the cable to connect to the pc but no cd with the latest firmware and I am worried about downloading the wrong stuff and messing up the box altogether.. please help someone scott
You need to load the firmware on the Box first, latest version is 4.54. You will find all you need in Eamos FTA Library at the end of my post.
