I burn stuff from the starview box and sometimes I get scrambled or bad channel in the middle of a programme. To stop this I have to go to the next channel and back to the original channel for it to stop. If I am not at home I obviously cannot do this and miss a lot of the programme. Any way of stopping it doing this, anyone. Tanx in advance....(",)**

I am lost mate, your burning something from a starview box???? I take it your recording via DVD recorder? Have you got SV PVR? There is not a lot you can do with the message, this is down to your CC signal coming in or your firmware, upgrade to the correct level firmware for your SV it may help, but this happens all the time on a lot of box's, as you dont say what you actual have its hard to tell you what that firmware is.

    go here for the firmware

I am recording to a Philips hdd/dvd recorder. I have the latest firmware from April on the Starview. Just can't stop it from occasionally going "Scrambled or bad channel" in the middle of a programme and having to change the station to get it back.Tanx for the reply....(",)**
