scrambled or bad channel

    Hello all,

    I an new here and as my username implies i am so useless at technical things. Anyway....

    I have put in codes and done everything that i need to do (after reading through these forums) but I can't get my starview to work. It either updates to 90% if lucky or says scrambled or bad channel.

    I have put in the most recent codes as far as i am aware (with telewest).

    Any ideas?

    Jules what box do you have is it starview.. .The Box ..or super 3 ?

    I think it is the Box. We have had it 12-18 months.

    You dont have to manually update The Box, once it has the correct firmware. Press menu and system info and post what it says.

    Thanks sc0user, I have it working now. We upgraded to a system 4.

    Jules glad you got it sorted!! what exactly did you do?
    and whats the system 4?
