hi sorry for the multiple posting but after hours of reading here's the rundown -in the right forum- I hope.
after xbox failing to start and start/stalls I dissasembled xbox assuming modchip was lose -again-then tried unsucsessfully to reconnect. chip wouldn't align/ get all three lights to light up. additionally dvd drive wont open-all cables are in tight-
now the d0 point hole looks all ripped up and when turned on even without modchip xbox stalls, blinking green three times then blinks red/green
is it pssible that i tore up the motherboard?
is there a way to find out?
is there a way to repair if scratched??
any and all help greatly appreciated thank you.

It's possible that you damaged a trace on the motherboard if the Xbox frags with the modchip disabled?? Do you get an error code if any at all??? If there is a lifted trace, you can use a conductive pen to reconnect the trace with some 30AWG wire and 15-20 watt soldering iron. Again, you might just be having problems aligning the chip and you D0 wire may not be making good contact. How bad did you scratch the motherboard??
