Any ideas on how I might get rid of the vinyl scratches that appear on some mp3s?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi.
    3 possibilities:

    1. Rip again from the original to .wav, use some audio editor's declick/deglitch function (e.g. Adobe Audition).

    2. Decode to .wav, use some audio editor's declick/deglitch function, re-encode (if needed).
But: Re-encoding will decrease overall quality

    3. Try to mute the bad positions using mp3DirectCut (= Amplify by e.g. -60dB). Will probably sound better but not unnoticable.
