I formatted a sd card to use in a dash cam(it previously had files on it and it worked fine).
I tried to view on my mobile phone and get damaged message - in fact i get that message on all mobile devices and tablets .My phone only gives format option (which i don't want to do as i've realized there was stuff that i actually ...needed ...ooops)
So i tried it on my PC to get it fixed thru msconfig or a recovery programme - but problem is the PC /laptops don't even recognize it all and i just get please insert message-which i tried - but nothing.
Device manager has no warning triangles for the usb ports.
I gave it a bit of a wipe to clean it.
Recovery programme is my best hope - but it looks like this sd card is totally beyond repair?

How did you format the card and which format did you choose?

I did it through the dashcam menu.It didn't give any specific format.Just "do you wish to format" Neither did it give any process or confirmation
