Seagate hdd wont lock please help chuckhead.

    tried to lock my new softmodd hdd and it says abort!b4 it gives me the break down with all the no's and 1 yes.im i doing something wrong?

    Did you read my tutorials carefully?

    The command to lock the HDD is 'lockhd -a' (there's a space)

    tks for the response ,i tried lockhd -a and after, it gives me the key and eeprom ,then yes to continue press yes ,then is says abort! and gives me the stats all no's and 1 yes.

    also i just got a new softmodd from a friend can i take out the hdd and put that one in my oldxbox,just scared that it will unlock i dont know. tks!

    You've confirmed that the eeprom.bin is correct using 'LiveInfo'? Try making another XboxHDM cd, you may have stuffed something up in the process!

    my friend put together the files for me, i have liveinfo 2 & 3 in the same folder witch one should i use?.also how many times can i press #1 for fresh build cause i think ive done that about 6x.next in my folders linux do my eeprom need to go in there or out of the fldr.one morething are all the eeprom.bin 256 bytes all the same?
