ive searched many times for a silent keyboard, or quiet atleast, and i cant find any. ive tried many stores and still nothing. well what im looking for in a keyboard is just a normal keyboard, that has multimedia buttons(play/pause/volume/ect) and standard keys w/ number pad. im trying to find a simple one under 40USD and i dont care if its wireless or wired. i also do not want that rubbery keyboard that can be rolled up and stuff. are there any recommendations?

I tried looking for a nice quiet keyboard and came up practically empty. The irony is, the keyboards supplied with some Dell PCs are actually impressively quiet.

A quiet keyboard. Maybe you two would like one that knows what you are thinking and just sends the signal, to the computer, without depressing any keys. LOLLOL!

When you get a little older, and start losing your hearing a little, you'll hardly notice the sound of the keyboard.

To be honest though mate, I'd rather not wait until I can't hear anything else just to not be annoyed by a keyboard! :)

wow a keyboard projection?? atleast you dont have to worry about spilling coffee all over it.

has anyone ever tried those silicone rubber keyboards? im assuming those are really quiet but they dont look practical or easy to press the keys.

ROFLMAO! I haven't lost my hearing, but the sound from a keyboard is not something that annoys me.

I have one of the cheaper rubbery black roll up keyboards.. It's quiet fair enough, but you have to really press on the buttons.. and it makes your fingers really sore very quickly.
I turn my headphones up and enjoy the tactile sensation my old nci switch keyboard in peace... Typos and all :D
