    Hi,
Hve tried to make backups of Second hand lions and Christmas Story to preserve from 5 and 8 yr olds. Using AnyDVD and CloneDVD,
    Verbatim media.

Keeps saying can't read disc, brand new Xmas presents.

Anyone else have problem with these two DVD's?

Sorry, didn't get email that anyone had responded and then my burner went out and just replaced it yesterday.

This might have been my problem. Will check back after I retry both movies again this week.

tyvm, will update and try to back up both movies later today.

will get back if I have success. My new driver came with NeroSmartStart. I am reluctant to use it because on the forums it seems there are many problms with Nero if you are not totally familiar with the software.

I am nearing the end of my trial period with AnyDvd and CloneDVD, so far I have been very happy except for the two DVD's my sister bought for her grandchildren and wanted them to use the backups in the portable DVD players their dad got them for Christmas.
