    Is there any way to password protect any files in your C:Drive or maybe if there is a special program for that particular reason.

    With XP Pro you can set file passwords.

    Encryption program's are just for this. Personally, I don't recommend any certain encryption program 'cause it's all in personal opinion anyway. Just, some have better encryption that others. Have a look around for one you like, search Google for "encryption program".
