I have an album on my hard drive that I would like to upload. I don't want to add it to the tracker because its already there. What I would like to do is to seed and allow people to upload. How do I go about doing this? The file thats already on the tracker has tons of leechers and since I already have it how do I add it to azureus for them to download? This is hard to explain... hope I don't come off as slooow. ;)

If the album is the same size, and bitrate, all you should have to do is download the torrent and then point your client to the existing files.

Ok. One of the albums I'm trying to share I actually got from the tracker in question and removed it and now I want to share again. So if I open the torrent and then how do I "point" my client to it. Azureus

Just click "open torrent" use the torrent in question, then change the download folder adress to the folder where the album is.

I changed the directory to save to but when I open the torrent it just begins downloading from the tracker.

Then the files probably don't match up somehow, or you are not pointing to the right folder... either that, or you might have to change "Add mode" to stopped for this to work. then you start it manually, and it checks then file, then ads it to the seed list.

I did change the files. I was getting an error in azureus I had added album artwork. So I went and undid that. So now I try again and double check where I'm pointing to and it does the same. Where is this add mode you speak of?

In the menu that pops up after you click Open> Torrent file, it's right above thee input area that points to where the torrent should be saved.
Also, keep in mind that if you change anythign about the files (even if it's just the id tags) then it will not match.
