Seeing as I have my LiteOn Drive Key - How easy is ugrading to 1.61?

    Can I do it without all those tools you needed doing it 1st time round? I reckon I could tackle other drives but the LiteOn seemed a bit...So I sent it in lol.

    Anyone?

    there is no 1.61 for LO. only way to put 161 on your console is to put in a sammy or a benq drive.

    As somebody else already pointed out, iXtreme 1.61 doesn't exist for Liteon drives. You're stuck with 1.6 and using the activation.iso for newer wave games.

    When you get your drive back, read up on spoofing and then buy a BenQ from eBay and spoof your Lite-on key to the BenQ and look for iXtreme 1.41 Rev2 Non-stealth firmware. Plays wave 4/5/whatever just fine. No need for the activation disc. If you're never going on XBLive, no need to worry about getting banned with the older firmware.
