Recently I came across the HP dc3000 writer http://hpnow.corp.hp.com/news/03q4/031020m1.htm which allows video input function as well. Well it looks pretty cool to me but just want to see if anyone have feedback on it?

Is it true what I've read, that it won't dub movies you've bought, only home videos? Fat lot of good that will do to those of us who want to convert old movie tapes to DVD if that is the case...*sigh*
