selling a broken computer

    a guy wants to buy my broken m9700 laptop (kinda works hd failure) and asked me 4 the selling price. Whats a reasonable price for the laptop?

    depends on the parts inside it and what software comes with it.

    it is hard to say. i sold out my broken computer for almost nothing.

    take the averave price of the laptop second hand in working condition.subtract the costs of replacing the HDD.make sure you have the original software(windows) to go with it and you should get a rough idea.

    nobody buys these things used.. there are stacks of them all over ebay fully working for around the £70 mark.. people are still trying for stupid money for the (worthless botched up) alienware ones.. again the trouble is.. precisely which model/make is it? .. most likely a mitak or toshiba with a skin on ;)

    If somebody actually has an interest in it then ask about $100 and look at his face.. that's a fair price for the screen and mobo.. depending on the precise chipset etc... windows is worthless.. a license is not transferable and will need a complete new install anyway on a new hdd ..
