7) AfterDawn doesn't take any responsibility whether a trade has been successful or not. We wont answer to any requests to determine seller's personal details, etc. Trading takes place between two individuals, AfterDawn simply provides a space for individual user's to post their classified ads, but doesn't act as a broker between the two parties involved. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/638276
No offense, but Afterdawn isn't the safest place to sell, unless the person selling lives very close to you and you can meet in person (like Craigslist). Ebay's probably the best, since to sell or buy you need a credit card to sign up. But make sure it's setup through something like paypal. With other payment options, the buyer can always cancel his/her payments once he knows the item has been shipped.
Would also bear in mind the sellers reputation on here, for instance if they are an addict and have more than 2000+ posts and they have sold stuff on here before you quite safe. Also, if you pay by paypal, you are protected with that.
nothing is safe online.we had problem with paypal and ebay.my brother ordered something off ebay the money went through and then sellers account was suspended.WE got the product luckily but they could of kept the money and nothing we would of been able to do.
I've bought a couple things on here, and as long as you pay thru PAYPAL, there shouldn't be an issue. Even if you have to wait a bit, you usually get your money back...and sometimes the item also.
