Okay, so here's my story. I was walking down the street and what do I see on the curb? A 4th Generation 20GB iPod. I picked it up and checked it out. It seemed to play songs okay but half the screen looks like my cell phone after I slammed it in the trunk. It's almost completely grey. Does anyone know a good place to find cheap Replacement Screens? I was looking on Ebay and they seem to run anywhere from $60 to $80 Canadian. I really don't want to pay that much but I really want to fix the iPod. Anyone know where I can get them cheaper?

u would have to send it away but apple will send u the box for it and usually will return it 2 u within 2 days. they are the best i've ever dealt with when it comes 2 warranty services and repairs. you wont pay ne thing for this so dont worry they pay shipping to u and from u so tis cool

but you need a warranty for the ipod - you cant just get free repairs... and also, a cracked up screen does not come under warranty... so you'll probably have to pay.

one thing, though - make sure the cracked screen is the ONLY problem, because you don't want to repair the screen and find out it doesn't charge etc...
