I'm having a problem trying to send the picture from my tv to a second tv. I am connected to the eurovox tx by scart and rf lead I have put a splitter on the back of the tv with a cable running to my second tv, but I cant pick up the signal. Does the rf lead not carry the whole signal? Is the scart lead absolutely necessary? If my tv didnt have a scart connection how would i send the picture to the tv? This one has me confused and frustrated as I spent the whole morning running the cable under floorboards to the other tv!

Done a bit of research and came up with an rf modulator. Will this do the job or is there an easier way?

Never used the RF modulator so I wouldn't be able to advise about that, the RF lead can carry the whole signal but unsure whether it can over a certain length, have you got a Audio L audio R and Video socket on your second TV? if so try this cable, I have used these before and work fine.

The rf lead doesnt carry the signal as far as I can see though, tried connecting to the box without the scart and nothing. The audio l and r cant be used because the second tv is seventy feet away.

Try plugging the rf output from your box into a 1 in 2 out booster. I have mine connected to one of these, with splitters on the output side of the booster, and am happily feeding the signal to 5 tvs all over the house.

That aint working either, its as if theres no feed through the rf output, is there some way of enabling it with the eurovox tx that I'm missing?

I used a 1 in 4 out booster with no luck. Am I right though in saying that if I used just the rf lead without a scart, that I should still be able to tune in the box to my tv?

Havent tried the RF output on a TX, but its quite possible its just a loopout and not enabled. As you said a modulator might be the way forward. But as always you can only watch the same channel in each room.

Having to watch the same channel isnt a problem really, I'm surprised though that this hasn't been an issue for anyone else, could it be that the rf output is enabled on some boxes and not on others? I know I had this problem with a c====s box some years back too.

I will have to ask regards the TX as I know other box tyes have RF disabled and others with none at all, e.g. EV EX1000.

    Hi guys
just saw this today, to fix this problem do this
scart from ur box to vcr, then scart from vcr to tv
this gets signal from box to tv through video.
Then run sat cable from rf out on video to 2nd tv
and it should be fine, ur video will act as a RF MODULATOR.
    I hope this helps.

Got my hands on a rf modulator Today and it works a treat.Perfect picture sent over 70ft of coax cable. Its the only thing that has been able to carry the signal for me. Dont know if every eurovox tx is like mine, but this is good information for those of you who spend a lot of time helping people like me out.
