Do I honestly need to buy another copy of a game to run it on another computer for a Two-Pc LAN system? I just wanted to know: 1. Is it legal? 2. Is it possible? 3. If possible, what must be done to allow you to play games on Lan (only) with eachother. Games like - Rome Total War, C&C Generals Zero Hour, Age of Empires 3, NFS MW, Homeworld 2, Act of War.. Thx yall, and im happy to be a part of the forums (just signed up)
Hi, welcome to the afterdawn forums Well we can't talk about piracy but I fully sympathize with your situation.I would go ahead and do it lol. How about this, install it on both pc's then use a no cd patch to play it on the other pc.That will allow you to play on two pc's with the same copy.
Yes it's legal because you own the game. The license agreement usually states that you can install in on multiple pc's.Just like it's not illegal to sell your used games to someone who is going to install it on their pc.
I would use Alcohol rip the image to one pc mount it and use the disk for the other pc. Almost all games don't check your CD KEY for lan games. It's legit.
