When playing Command and Conquer: Generals online i get a message that says invalid Serial number so i exchanged it for a new copy and i was wondering does anyone know of a good program/software that will delete or allow you to edit your serial number? If the program is free it will be even better thanks.

well i emailed Ea games about the problem and they told me what to do and this is as far as i have gone and it hasn't worked

    Click on the Start button.
    Click on Run.
Type regedit into the available text field, and press OK.
    Double-click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
    Double-click on SOFTWARE.
    Double-click on EA GAMES.
Right-click on the following folders and select Delete to remove them:
    Command and Conquer Generals
Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour
When prompted if you are sure, select Yes.
Click on the minus sign next to EA Games.
    Double-click on Microsoft.
    Double-click on Windows.
    Double-click on CurrentVersion.
    Double-click on Uninstall.
Right-click on the following folders and select Delete to remove them:
    {06F80017-8F98-4C94-B868-52358569FC32 } – Generals
    {F3E9C243-122E-4D6B-ACC1-E1FEC02F6CA1 } – Zero Hour
When prompted if you are sure, select Yes.
Close the Registry Editor by clicking on the X in the top right corner of the window.

Using that tool still gives me the same error and i don't understand why because i have exchanged this product at bestbuy three times already and all three serial numbers are invalid.
