trying to flash a sv 3 super just keep getting message can not access file being used by another process please help. doin my ead in

 

delete it and download and try again

Are you using vista?are you using just a null modem, or a null modem in conjunction with a usb adapter?try this firmware> 709

i am useing usb from laptop to 9 pin on sv with gender converter and yes i am useing vista

 

ok gary then i would suggest you find someone with an old pc with a serial port on it and running xp or earlier,as there are to many problem's with serial cable's never mind trying to download firmware with vista.

Just seem's to be impossible for most people to download firmware using vista that's all.
