Please ignore my last thread. I have a nine pin serial port that always worked until::: I formatted My hard drive and undated from win 98 to win xp. Now I have got no commuation going to the digivox (ie failed to flash). I read about commports and how to set them etc, but can't find the same information on "serial ports". Basic, how do I know its enabled ????. Cheers, And hope ye all are still wetting the shamrock,,,, what a week.
xp should have the drivers you need for sr port what ver of xp did you update with shall have to think about it will get back as soon as i can
version 2002 and everything is undated including service pack 2&3. The usb ports are working on ie, mouse, exteral dvd, webcam etc, yet am getting no reaction towards updating a digivox. Had worked perfect before upgrade with same firmware software and cables on both the serial&usb, so any idea on the direction I should take now. I also went and checked the BIOS and enabled the pars. what I did hadmad, is go to the recycling centre and picked a nine pin serial out of a scraped pc, installed in my own and it worked first time. Might be helpful to know. Thanks anyway for you time. Chorai.
