I have a starview box for near 6months now and occasionally it goes off, up until last week i had no problem re-tuning it (ie: factory settin, 1570, EMU on . nagravision, new codeas 4 telewest then autoscan, and the channels were back). However when i go into nagravision T/W, NTL and other main 'provider ID's' have vanished from the system. I have tried retuning on diff ID such as chore and OMNE etc but have had no success, no matter how many time i reset etc T/W which is my main provider in merseyside is not available. can anyone suggest how i refind it as my provider id will only function with Telewest (virgin) any suggestions please although i have tried retuning on everyother ID and now have the urge to smash the little grey shit up hahah
is the null modem cable the 9pin rs 232 wateva or the small black port that look like a firewire port on a dv camera? if so how do u use it? thanks for the reply.
yes but null and rs232 look the same. you need to get gt rom and a bin file in the box folder in the link below.
