I'm playing windows games time by time just to kill the time, however from one day to other I receive an error message when I click on one of the different game icons! It says that the file has no program associate with and I should create an association in the "set association control panel"

I googled the problem, however the treads I found did not really help me to solve the problem!

My biggest concern is how the hell is it possible that an application what comes together with the OS installation become unusable from one day to the other! I don't even know what program runs windows games and what extension the file use.

    What should I do????
Anyone with a good idea, to solve this problem????

    Thanks

I think I would probably try to re-install windows games from the cd via the control panel "add or remove programs" and then "Add/Remove windows components" section. See if that makes any difference. Good luck.
