Set up problems with Eurovox ex 5000 PVR 8% signal

    Hello
    I would be really grateful is anyone can help me. I have just bought a Eurovox ex5000 PVR. It came with FTA installed only and I have tried to install the software I need to enable me to access all channels (Version 1.1). However it still says that version 1.0 is installed but the date has changed to 1.1 software date. I also have an issue now where the signal quality is only at 8%. I have tried a new cable and that has made no difference - the Virgin box still works fine and it is the only cable in the house.
    I am really confused!!! PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEEEEE!

    Are you scanning on the correct provider and is the coax connected into the cable in socket?

    I have scanned on all 3 settings cable connection is good works fine with virgin box and worked fine with eurovox with FTA software on.
