setanta channels scrambled ??

dunno if its just me but setanta was workin now it says scrambled channel all the others are working fine and i have the latest firmware on eurovox pvr

 

It may just be a hiccup. Sometimes a similar thing happens on other channels. Usually it clears if you go to a different channel then come back to the one that was saying its scrambled.

 

On the Scrambled channel press info twice, take a note of the freqs it will show at the top left hand side.

Now go to Menu, Installation, press OK on User Installation, Enter pin 0000, Highlight the Freqs you noted before by pulling down on your remote then press OK so a tick appears at the side then press manual scan which is the "blue button". Leave it to scan usually takes around 30 seconds then exit back to bad channel.

 

ok i tried that and setanta has changed to tvch6 and says no audio video(other setanta channels blank aswell)

 

Look through your channels it might of moved to the end of your channnel list. Where abouts are you?

 

northampton .. looked in the channel list and it hasnt moved .. is it worth savin my favs then rescannin the box ?

 

As Topcat said may be a temp glitch but for me a quite a few others the manual scan brings them back. As for saving your favs you can only do that by uploading your CDF to your PC, if you want to do that then fine but after a factory default and a powerscan you will have sort the fav's out again and you cant put the saved CDF back or you will be in the same situation as your in now.

Edit, you could try taking out any splitters on your feed and do the above again.

 

oh well im not that fussed anyways only want it for the football at the weekend lol maybe just sort itsself out by then

 

If its not working by the weekend it's a good excuse to get down to the pub and watch it

I'm in the East London ex-c&w area with a starview 1 clone and have also lost all my setanta channels. Tried all the normal stuff but nothing, now trying factory reset and rescan.

Update: Nope, rescan didn't pick anything up relating to setanta..!
So they seemed to have gone for the time being.

 

Same here Setanta channels gone in Teeside. See what happens over next few days.

 

I have the same problem on the Starview 3 box, everything else back apart from Setanta. Hopefully it's just a glitch...

 

Just manually scanned for Setanta on the starview 3 box and managed to get Setanta 1 but if you change the channel it's gone again, does anyone know why it is found and then disappears?

 

I've got a Digivox XL. (Virgin Media) Have applied the latest 'fix' but all Setanta channels, and all football channels (Celtic, Rangers Liverpool etc.) won't unscramble. g

I've tried the various tweaks mentioned on these forums, I've also tried rescanning but all to no avail (Virgin Media)

Am I alone in this predicament?

 

your not i am in belfast and have the same problem with my staview 3 also no bbbc1 any advise would be great
