Setanta has disappeared.

Our setanta channel went off tonight and wouldn't update. So I deleted the channel then did a manual scan to try get it back but it's not there. However I did get setanta 2 which I never had before. Can someone tell me the frequency to scan for setanta please? Thanks.

Scotland. I did the manual scan on 683000.

 

That's the right frequency there hasn't been a change of that so it is more than likely a fault in your area it'll come back on itself as what normally happens.

 

I was thinking that might be the case. I'll tell his nibbs that anyway and say he should expect it back in the middle of next week, at the earliest. Unless his pals tell him different in the meantime the telly's all mine now. He went to his bed early in disgust tonight. HAHA.

I believe Set is back now , if you want to try a scan 299000 it will appear at the bottom of your channel list

 

yeah my setanta 1 has disapeared, tried a manual scan a good few times...nothing, so just tried a full re scan and it still doesn't picj it up

 

I just done a scan down on 299000 and it's not there either. I'll fiddle about and see if I get it.

 

Just read elsewhere it's on 419000 so I'll try that. If I'm not back here in a couple of minutes it's working, and his nibbs has stopped working , (if you get me).

 

Found it on 299.000 in Liverpool.

Deano , delete the channel and do an auto scan and see if it appears at the bottom of your list

 

Top Girl Celtic, i got it now, found it at the end of the list, every one kept saying do a manual scan on certian frequencies but after a long auto scan, it has come back! lol Nice One

Sorry for being retarded but I live in leeds and have lost Setanta 1!!! Was gutted as really wanted to watch the fight last night, and even worse I cant watch Blackburn vs Liverpool which is on right now!!! I hear you all talk of frequency etc but when I do autoscan/power scan it doesnt come back. As for manual scan, how do you do that, I get 22 channels but cant do anything when I press the button, all I can do is modify a channel but to no avail!

my powerscan is:

Mode : Normal
Start : 300.00mhz
Stop : 870.00mhz
symbolrate : 6.952 mbaud
symbolrate : 6.887 mbaud
step : 8

I also dont get many movie channels, sky prem and thats about it :-(

I think if you only get 22 channels there's definitely summit up with your box. Stick around this site and someone will get you sorted today.

Hi its the Eurovox max 2006 and im in the wakefield/Castleford area not far from Leeds.

I have 209 channels, alot are repeats tho.

My internet is Virgin Media which is the Telewest side over here.

Just tried the factory default, but selected Birmingham as my area didnt display and again got loads of channels just not all many movie ones and more importantly Setanta 1 :-(!!!
