Ilive in Swords, have cable ch**us and a Eurovox PVR..recently, i appear to have lost my setanta sports 1 or Setanta Ireland. Not sure - as i do have a Setanta Golf, Setanta News and 2 Setanta Sports channels labelled one and 2 - But they dont seem to be showing what should be on Setanta Sports 1 and 2. I used to have them.... If anybody has a freq i can search on 6.875 baud??? Thanks
Try a manual scan for it..heres the frequencies: Setanta golf 307.000 Setanta Ireland 291.000 Setanta sports 1 307.000 Setanta sports 2 371.500 Setanta Sports News 355.500
Its actually Setanta Sports Ireland that I am missing. I want to watch the Newcastle game this Monday and hope to get it b4 then.I have tried the 291 freq but it doesnt pick it up..
That channel is FTA so you should have it. I am not sure of your areas TPs, but try 340.000, 444.000, 452.000 or 460.000. You should pick it up.
thx but still no dice.444 on 6.875 symbol rate picks up some 11 extra channels including celtic TV and Liverpool TV which i didnt have b4 - which is good...but still no Setanta Ireland??? Anything else i could try?
OK - The newcastle villa game appears to be braodcast in the UK on Set Sports one - but in Ireland on Setanta Sports Ireland. So essentially-it appears to me that set sports one broadcasts different prog depending on what country you are in. My problem is that i still dont have Set Sports Ireland-so i wont be able to see the match tonite altho i have Set Sports 1. I need Set Sports Ireland.Not long left-hoping someone can help me out here. To paraphrase a famous Star Wars line - "Help me Scouser and Celtic71 - you're my only hope"
Eva.. Evening.. Setanta is 291.00 all over Dublin but for some reason this guy cant get it !! think he will have to go down the local to watch it (Thats Terrible) the sacrifices we have to make to see a football match LOL
I ended up seeing the match but i had to plug back in my C**us modem and as Setanta Ireland is FTA, I was able to watch it. And they won 2-0 which was good. I still don't understand why i cant get it on my Eurovox - but C'est la vie! It's a small price to pay for everything else the box supplies BTW, 291 gives me Boomerang, Buzz, GOLD, hallmark, E and a few others - but not Setanta Ireland!!
