Setting burn speeds to a default

    I am using Nero7 and with both CDs and DVDs I would like to set a default setting for burning lower that it would normally be. In my case I have to remember to set the speed every time I want to burn a disk.

    This group is wonderful for solving problems with Nero and you have helped so many time in the past so THANK YOU ALL.

    Nero doesn't keep a default burn setting that I know of. You need to set your burn speed each time you burn a new disc.
    Once your put a new disc in - the drive reads it and Nero will give the supported burn speeds.
    After awhile it just becomes a habit :)

    While Nero is a great tool, you might want to try Imgburn for you burning...you can "set it and forget it", Imgburn will remember your last burn speed providing the disc supports that speed each time.
