i have recently installed a switch and everything i need to use a 2nd harddrive. the main hdd is a 80gig, and the second hdd is a 120gig. i have a xbit modchip. i'm not sure what bios i have because a friend installed the chip and bios. i havn't hooked up the second hdd yet because i don't know if i need to install new bios or newer bios. i also wanted to know if someone could possibly tell me if the bios i'm using now will play back up games. i have all the software on my pc to burn backups but don't know if they will play. someone said to get evox auto installer but i didn't know if that would work with the bios i have or whatever they are. could someone please help me.......

if you already have a chip, you dont need the auto installer,as for the hard drive you will need to get all the files of your original hard drive and transfer them to your new hard drive.

ok well how would i transfer all my files off my original to the new hdd. and does it matter that one is a 80gig and the other is a 120gig? i'm just looking for the simplest way to do this. i was also wondering about getting new bios anyway. cuz i'm pretty sure mine won't play back up disks. thanx for helping.

    Hi there,

I don't know about xbit chip, but for Xecuter 3CE, you can boot up without the hard drive. then use flashfxp to transfer the data from c:, d:, and e: of 80gig to your pc. then turn on the 120gig and flashfxp the data to the new 120gig.

it shouldn't matter if one is 80gig and the other 120gig.

    cheers
