What is the proper way to set up a surround sound system? I have some questions in the wiring aspect of it. Do I take the digital optical cable from the TV to the receiver? Do I take the digital optical cable from my PS3 to the receiver? My receiver (HT-Z310) only has 1 optical input on the back.
#1 - No #2 - Yes If you need more than one optical input, go to Monoprice.com and search for optical splitter or optical switch. It will allow more optical inputs. They are cheap too. Good luck.
