I already have a 1TB HD on my AMD computer. I tried to install a second 1TB HD for more storage. I record HDTV so I need the extra storage. The new HD shows up in the BIOS and in "Hardware Devices" folder but I cannot find the second HD icon in "My Computer" folder. My "C" drive shows up but not the other one. Thanks for any help.

go into control panel/admistrative tools/computer management/storage/disk management/ next format it and add a drive letter to it.

Format it with the NTFS and use 64kb clusters, that works better for large video files. That's what I use on all my video data drives.

Thanks a bunch, that did the trick but it did take a long time to format(several hours)but it works, so that's great. I didn't know about using the admistrative tools section. Seems like I keep learning new stuff when I do things on my computer. I am using MYHD card to record the Olympics and it looks great. If you need an HD card the MYHD card works wonderful. Thanks again
