I clicked on search for access point, it beeps, and shows netgear with lock highlighted in red and thomson with lock highlighted in green. i click on the green one and it says WEP security type and prompts me for a password or key. What is this? I have a cable modem downstairs that's directly connected to my computer and a wireless thing that receives a signal in my sister's room upstair's for her pc. what password or key am I supposed to type in? how do I find out what it is?
ask your sister it sounds like her computer has the wep key turned on or who ever set up the wireless set a password on your wireless you cannot find it or guess it eaither
check out what the wireless thing is...is it a router, or just a wireless card? this is important, coz wireless cards wont connect to the wii.
