I, iluvendo, always the professional, having serviced the local dvd retailer (female), obtained my copy of Sex and the City, early, and found the following:

    Failed methods

    1) Anydvd 6466 and ripit4me
    2) dvd fab plat 5090
    a) full disc mode
    b) movie only mode
    c) does not matter if path player is on or disabled

    Successful methods

    1) Anydvd 6466 in ripper mode to HDD (devices set to slow and quiet, full disc)
    2) dvd HD decrypter 4120, ripped to HDD (this oldie but goodie worked, full disc)

rtm, 7th, here is your "challenge"

You didn't list the version of AnyDVD that failed. Looks like you not only like a tease, but you also like to tease.

Sweet! Thanks for the heads up on an advance new release. Keep servicing the local dvd retailer...you dog. :)

I look forward to the challenge.

I'd rather try it without an update first, just to mess around with it. Hehe. I don't even want to see it, but i'll pick it up just for the challenge.

Dialysis1 will appreciate the challenge as well.

Odd thing, the Anydvd 6466 rip was 6.91 Gb

THe dvd fab HD 4120 rip was 6.83 Gb

    a difference of 80 Mb

I have not watched both rips yet, so I do not know what if any difference there is.

This one was normal for me. Used RipItForMe with newest AnyDVD running in the background. Than thru Shrink, followed by old faithful DVDDecrypter. Perfect backup. Wish you all luck.

Is there anyway somebody could step-by-step this for me?! I know this would be tedious but I would really really appreciate it. I already have dvd decrypter and dvd shrink downloaded do i need anything else or special settings?
