Sharereactor site down?

    I have been trying to get on the site for 4 days now with no results.

    I understand that it has been busy but its not giving me a server busy page its acting like it doesn't exist.

    Anybody know whats going on? its www.sharereactor.com

    Same here folks, been trying to get onto the forums a couple days with no success. In fact, I get a "connection was refused" message instead of the run of the mill timeout. :S I certainly hope it's not the end, but rather another chapter in their seemingly endless bout of server troubles. Come back to us sharereactor!

    If it ever goes up again, I'm going to use a program to rip every page on the site so I can store it locally.

    REBEL: FileNexus went down a long time ago. I think it got shut down by some legal issues.

    I think it's quite obvious what's going on with Sharereatcor. In October last year Simon Moon put up a page requesting donations for new server hardware to help speed up Sharereactor. More than $8000 flowed in over 3 days. Then he requested donations once again a few weeks later to pay for a new line for the mainpage. This time $5000 flowed in. $14000 in total.

    No one saw anything for the money they gave to SR. The site was as slow as ever. He posted endless excuses about how he couldn't get the imaginary server up and running and how there were problems with it. The cold truth is I think he's screwed everyone that gave money and run off with it. He's sold SR out for $14000 dollars. Something that was never his in the first place. Something he became caretaker of due to the sad loss of Gowenna. He was accused of misappropration of funds around 18 months ago when a flood of admins left. Most did not clearly state why they were leaving but some gave more than enough hints as to why.

    I knew this was coming. Other people posted about their fears on the SR forum regarding this. Every thread regarding the server hardware and the money was instantly closed by Simon. He was trying to quieten it all down. He was trying to drag it out for months and months. And now this is the ultimate result. I cannot believe no on here has already mentioned this or in any of the other forums I have seen people discussing the recent dissapearance of SR. Well I say look no further. I'm not buying any of the crap I hear over the next few weeks. I say SR is gone. And gone because 1 pathetic greasy weasel of a man decided to screw the whole community for $14000. F**K Simon Moon and F**K SR.

    I dunno SR but I know a few who run close in well Sharereactor will be back:)

    oohh thats hopefully but theres a determined bunch behind the scenes
